【明報專訊】The government has put forward some new suggestions concerning the introduction of non-locally trained doctors. Among them is the relaxation of the arrangements for qualified overseas specialists to practise in Hong Kong, which will mean that a specialist, regardless of whether they are originally from Hong Kong or are non-Hong Kong permanent residents, will be able to practise in Hong Kong as long as their specialist qualifications are recognised by the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine. Furthermore, non-locally trained medical graduates originally from Hong Kong can also take the licensing examination and undergo internship training in Hong Kong.
