【明報專訊】IN Brazil's tainted-meat scandal, it has been found that some of the frozen meat might have been exported to mainland China, Hong Kong and the European Union. Though Hong Kong's Centre for Food Safety has banned the imports of frozen and chilled meat as well as poultry produced in Brazil, it has not recalled the Brazilian meat available in markets or demanded that it be removed from shelves. The public, confused about whether Brazilian frozen meat is safe or not, is at a loss what to do.
