【明報專訊】THE PERIOD in which people desirous of standing in the next Chief Executive (CE) election may get nominations ends today (March 1). Armed with sufficient nominations, John Tsang, Woo Kwok-hing and Carrie Lam have "entered their respective starting stalls". Now they stand like the three legs of a tripod. To win nominations and popular support, they have glibly talked about "social harmony and unity". However, their nominations are so distributed and the electoral battle trends in such a way that it does not seem possible for any of them to bridge the social chasm.
