【明報專訊】JOHN TSANG has announced his candidacy for the upcoming Chief Executive election after his resignation as Financial Secretary was approved. In terms of the Chief Executive race, though the pan-democrats have yet to state their intention clearly, four people, namely Carrie Lam, John Tsang (both of whom have announced their candidacy one after another), Woo Kwok-hing and Regina Ip, are now in the race. Conceivably, over the next two months or so, they will try their best to court votes from members of the Election Committee. Intense competition is to follow. "What kind of Chief Executive does Hong Kong need" is now a question that has to be considered and contemplated by society as a whole, including electors and citizens.
