【明報專訊】AN APPLICATION has been filed for dividing a piece of agricultural land in Shui Mei Village, Kam Tin, into seventy-two plots for putting up New Territories (NT) small houses. It remains to be ascertained whether the land transactions having to do with the project involve obtaining small-house rights. It is worth attention that the government has used public money to build a road there so that the place will be directly accessible by car. It is worth looking at and discussing what tangible and intangible interests exist in connection with the affair. The interest chain of NT small houses may be even more complicated than people know.
