【明報專訊】THE SITUATION in Wukan, a village in the city of Lufeng in Guangdong Province where villagers were staging a protest, has gone downhill rapidly. The government has resorted to the use of force to suppress the protests. It is understood that many villagers have been injured in their bloody clashes with police and armed police. It deserves our attention whether the situation will deteriorate further.
