【明報專訊】THE RIO OLYMPIC GAMES are to draw to a close at 7 am Hong Kong time next Monday. The Hong Kong team's participation in the games has all but completed, with some of its members having already come home. At the last Olympic Games (held in London), Sarah Lee, the "Cycling Goddess of Lower Ngau Tau Kok Estate", sent all Hong Kong into jubilation by winning a bronze in a cycling event. No such highlights have appeared at the Rio Olympics. On the whole, the Hong Kong team has so far not done as well as it did at the London Olympics (2012). However, it is comforting to see their strong fighting spirit has remained unchanged and they have invariably displayed sportsmanship.
