【明報專訊】THE COMPETITION COMMISSION (Commission) has released its first study report, which is concerned with "bid-rigging" in connection with building renovation, an issue the generality of citizens are concerned about. The report basically affirms "bid-rigging" has occurred. To citizens this conclusion is nothing new. Society has long been convinced that there have been "coordinated processes" by which big renovation money has been squeezed out of flat owners. The government has been repeatedly asked to take measures to safeguard citizens' interests.
