【明報專訊】THE HONG KONG-ZHUHAI-MACAO BRIDGE (HZMB) project has suffered one setback after another. It has recently been reported that an artificial island has once again drifted, and, according to those familiar with the matter, some parts of the project have been affected. The Highways Department (HD), nevertheless, maintains that the project will be completed late next year. Drifting of the artificial island as disclosed previously has already set the completion of the bridge back a year. Any implications carried by the new development will no doubt manifest themselves in the future.
