【明報專訊】HSBC Holdings plc (HSBC) has decided to remain headquartered in London and cease to review the location of its headquarters every three years unless there is "a material change in circumstances". In other words, it will remain basically unchanged for HSBC to remain headquartered in London. HSBC has become a global bank. Money or tax matters are not major factors that have determined the banking group to distance itself from Hong Kong, its birthplace.
