【明報專訊】THE MAINICHI SHIMBUN has quoted sources involved in Sino-Japanese diplomacy as saying Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will arrive in Beijing on the afternoon of September 3 to avoid the military parade scheduled for that morning and he will attend events to be held that afternoon. The story says that would be the best occasion to give the impression of China and Japan working hard together to become reconciled. As neither government has said anything about it, it is hard to tell whether the story is accurate.
