【明報專訊】FIRST the clothes of several patients at Queen Mary Hospital were found to be infected with mucormycosis, which resulted in the deaths of two patients. Then it emerged that, at Tuen Mun Hospital, the liver enzyme reference readings for male and female patients over 60 years old had been mixed up. Of the patients affected, over 1,000 are dead. The two medical incidents are extremely serious in nature. The one at Tuen Mun Hospital, in particular, is very shocking indeed, as it involves so many patients. It is noteworthy that the two incidents have to do not with the amount of resources, but with the quality of administration.
