【明報專訊】KUOMINTANG (KMT) chairman Eric Chu, who is now on the mainland, is scheduled to meet general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Xi Jinping today (May 4). Unlike Lien Chan, who had a historic handshake with Hu Jintao (then CPC general secretary) ten years ago in Beijing, Chu was born in Taiwan after the KMT had moved to the island. It merits minute observation how the KMT leader and the CPC leader interact with one another.
