【明報專訊】AN EXPLOSION occurred when an LPG taxi was being repaired in a garage in Wan Fung Street, Wong Tai Sin. The garage was gutted by fire. In the accident, three were killed and nine others injured. The explosion, which shattered many windows in the vicinity, was massive. The authorities have yet to find out what caused the accident. However, its occurrence shows it is a concern that garages (most of which occupy ground-floor shops in residential buildings) may have become "time bombs" in residential areas.
