【明報專訊】RECENTLY on the mainland A-share prices have roller-coastered, and the trade volume on a single day has easily amounted to one trillion yuan, easily surpassing that of any market in the US, Europe and Japan and making global records. In the face of such a frenzy, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) has repeatedly made earnest statements to warn investors against selling their flats to get money to speculate in shares. Such remarks from the securities watchdog show that the A-share bubble must not be ignored. A-share prices did plunge as soon as they rocketed. Such huge fluctuations pose serious risks. That shows objectively that, at this moment, the aim of turning the mainland share market into a mature securities market is still far from achievable.
