【明報專訊】THE OCCUPY MOVEMENT has gone on for fifty-two days. When will it end? A positive message came yesterday. Bailiffs carried out the injunction with respect to Citic Tower. They were not obstructed when they had obstacles occupiers had placed there removed. Access to Citic Tower is no longer blocked. However, it is far from certain whether occupied thoroughfare sections will be cleared without a hitch. In fact, it is generally agreed that it is time occupiers left. If they respect this majority view, they should be so magnanimous and courageous as to stop harming others. They should restore the roads they have occupied to the people and fight for democracy in other ways. If they do so, they will conceivably regain support (which they have kept losing) and society need not pay a heavier price.
