【明報專訊】THE URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY (URA) intends the Kwun Tong Centre Project (Areas 2 and 3) to give the district a new aspect. It was arranged that it would deliver 1,700 residential units and a new public transport interchange. It is often the case that a good project may suffer many setbacks. The Kwun Tong project is now on the rocks. No bidder has met the URA's minimum investment requirement. Our sources have pointed out that developers are very cautious because the project is of such a scale that it poses huge investment risk.
