Some joined the July 1 march to voice their peculiar demands, but the majority of those who took to the streets yesterday (July 1) did so to press for democracy and true universal suffrage. Therefore, the two mass movements Hong Kong has recently seen have to do with the constitutional reform, and they show citizens have a strong craving for true universal suffrage.
