【明報專訊】YESTERDAY (May 22) the Chief Executive's (CE's) question time at a Legislative Council (Legco) meeting broke up because of three legislators' misbehaviour. That prevented citizens from learning more about CE Leung Chun-ying's policies, and it is clear from what happened yesterday that the several radical legislators have gone to even greater lengths to impede Legco and government business. Recently, a few Legco members have filibustered on the pretext of supervising the executive but with a view to paralysing it and the legislature. That has much to do with the public interest. It is now doubtful that Legco can effectively supervise the executive and fulfil its other functions.
